Few days to the decisive May 20th, 2011, the imposed authority´s leader is intensifying his seduction operations in order to be allowed to organize elections his way. On the diplomatic chessboard, Andry Rajoelina keeps on travelling abroad while putting his money on a superficial similarity between the Arabian revolution and the year 2009´s putsch. Although he was rejected as president of the transition, the elected mayor of Antananarivo is clearly intending to become the first president of a republic set to measure

Andry Rajoelina dying for being elected in 2011

Andry Rajoelina has been pushing further ahead in his unilateral strategy apparently pledged by the rejected roadmap draft. “There won’t be any meeting anymore between the four sphere leaders” reiterated the Malagasy authority´s leader. Both of the former presidents are in between being banned from entering the national territory by the ruling power, as confirmed by the civilian aviation. Andry Rajoelina is losing patience. “Time for  action has come, the roadmap must be implemented”, he declared. The opposition led by former president Zafy Albert argues on the other side that the HAT´s mandate expired in March 2011.
Andry Rajoelina did not hold his word (again) of ending the transition in 24 months. He skirted around the issue (again) by turning a referendum out, outcome of which is namely making a chief of state in a republic set to measure. The international recognition failed from coming though. The elected mayor will have to  presidential election. Andry Rajoelina must convince again because even though it is certain to be elected, recognition is a different issue.
“Elections must be organized in this year “, emphasized the imposed authority´s leader. “We are going to enter the transition´s 4th year” in 2012, he said, as he had to concede that his mandate is to an end. “Power must be given back to the people, we must organize the elections “, he insisted. Andry Rajopelina complained about the big democratic powers´ argued unfair treatment as they recognized transitions in the Arabian countries. No capital city mayor actually did launch any putsch supported by rebelling military forces in any of these countries, as a matter of fact. Too bad for his pride. The association is in the end everything but a good argument.
Would Andry Rajoelina really intend to return power to the people, or rather keep his grip on power by misusing democratic tools?  “As for my candidacy, every thing in its time “, he moderately declared after speeches repeatedly and clearly depicting his intention to remain on top, without having to bear any democratic transition. “An election must be organized this year as early as possible, it must be accepted and supported by the international community “, Andry Rajoelina is expecting consent from the chiefs of state of the SADC potentially on their way to give in after series of unilateral actions and other accomplished facts.
