Appeasement process, Rajoelina´s “tin cop” is nervous

The commander of the Analamanaga region State police and leader of the Emmo-Reg squad didn’t appreciate Tojo Ravalomanana´s refrainment to join Betongolo´s police station, the HAT´s political prisoners’ first destination prior to jail. His troops attempted one day earlier to arrest them at former president Marc Ravalomanana´s home in Faravohitra. Richard Ravalomanana subsequently recalled to the HAT as well as to the audience in general how crucial his own relevance for state security is. His targets would be threats for Madagascar´s home security. 

The concerned figure is a tall Caucasian type South-African man wearing sunglasses. His first offense was his presence beside Tojo Ravalomanana and Guy Rivo Randrianarisoa at the airport of Ivato. Newspapers dying for scoops labelled him as a mercenary. Such titles are however general Richard Ravalomanana´s incentive to set his dogs on the tall Caucasian type man named Ferry Jones. “Information like these published in newspapers deserve our attention”, he declared. 

Failing from putting his grip either on Tojo Ravalomanana or on his friend happens to wearing on the Rajoelina regime´s watchdog´s nerves. The general justified his action this way:”This individual presented himself as businessman, we must check up his incentives to join Madagascar “, as if each and every foreigner joining this isle have so far  systematically been investigated. The general’s doubts would be a premonition for Mr. Jones would have never reached his hotel in Antsahavola as he was supposed to. The army of the HAT is therefore being scared by… Mr. Jones. “He declared that his stay would end by the beginning December, he´ll be breaching the law if he stays any longer”, predicted the general in a speech nearly inviting the tall Caucasian type south-African man to go back at home. 

Tojo Ravalomanana is being sought by the state police merely in order to find Ferry Jones. “They walked together, together they came out of from the airport, they took the same convoy, they necessarily know each other”, sounded the general’s brilliant conclusion, as a reminder of the exceptional ability which led to his promotion. What is interesting that is the part thesis: “could he keep away from responding to our call while thinking: “I am president Ravalomanana´s son, I did nothing to these filthy Malagasy policemen”, then it will be another issue”. 

What has made general Richard Ravalomanana so bitter? Prime minister Beriziky declared that no judicial measure was directed against Tojo Ravalomanana. The Ravalomanana sphere condemned the Emmo Reg squad led harrassement and challenged the HAT´s leader. Andry Rajoelina would have promised that no action would be directed against the exiled president’s son. On this account, his lawyer found no legal necessity to join the famous state police station. So was a blow for general Ravalomanana´s pride. “Neither the president, nor the Prime minister, nor the transitional congressmen are allowed to order us to suspend an investigation. We only listen to the judge “, he moaned. 

Is this a small scale rebellion? The political appeasement imposed by the roadmap is finding hard to find favor within the Rajoelina sphere as a whole. Repression would thereupon strike in the name of a judge, as hinted by general Richard Ravalomanana. The justice ministry is after all firmly under the TGV regime´s control
