The quality of the gas sold in Madagascar is utterly poor. This has been no secret to drivers for ages. Now, this quality only reaches another record low. Car drivers currently rumble at the fact that gas stations stuff their tanks with air in return of their money basically supposed to purchase fuel.

Car drivers actually getting gas from gas stations

There are many explanations, though none of them are anywhere near convincing. “We are supplied and supplying with SP 98. At least 3000 to 4000 liters of such a fuel type are required inside our storage rooms so that pumps get something to work for” explained one pump attendant. “This happens to be winter fuel. Whenever average temperatures go up in the morning, pumps do find it hard to suck the fuel up” argued a gas station manager. As of the Malagasy Fuel Management Office, it merely declared that the supplied fuel would not cause damages to vehicles. And vehicle drivers have to keep going about their necessities and make do with these and scores of other speculated explanations, without reaching anything like a satisfying explanation. Many gas stations shut doors for being unable to sell fuel over the latest days. It has long been well known to drivers, that the fuel sold in Madagascar is tapped with water and oil, though on still unclear accounts. The rumor has been confirmed by analysis requested by and large by users themselves.
