Constant Raveloson threatened to be arrested

“I found out the appearance of an arrest mandate against my own self in the newspapers” affirmed Constant Raveloson. The arrest threat is currently quite real actually. However, it is not the first experience for this boiling animator of the pro-Ravalomanana demonstration. Several months earlier, he was actively pursued by elements of the Special Task force. 

In this time, the MFM militant has been accused by soldiers of the High Authority of the Transition of uttering “death threats” against them. The fact has been denied by Constant Raveloson. The “threat” would have been uttered during a rally inAmbohijatovo. 

Constant Raveloson had to hide for a little while for security reasons. Hishome has been searched once by the soldiers of the HAT. It all happened long before the signature of the Maputo agreements. In August, following the signature of a political agreement between the four mobilities, Constant Raveloson reappeared in the Magro square. And he is part of Marc Ravalomanana’s favorite animators.  

According to his own words, Constant Raveloson does not really intend to hide again, since he has, besides, received no confirmation of the arrest mandate.  

He actually knows that the arrestation of a legalistic leader at such a level of negotiations  in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia, could be very badly interpreted by the international community.
