MALACAM stadium: the opposition repelled by the militaries

Fetison Andrianirina, from the Ravalomanana sphere, emphasized that Wednesday`s gathering was authorized. The police forces did not have it this way.

As crowds were joining the stadium in an increasing number, militaries barricaded the gate. Few hours later, exploding tear gas grenades were heard all over Antanimena.

“Clashes are proving that the country is far from any political settlement in spite of November 17th`s enforced referendum”, stated one opposition leader.
