Marc Ravalomanana cast aside from the National Conference

The High Authority of Transition’s departmental staff’s director, Zazah Ramandimbiarison, sent an invitation to both of the other former presidents, Didier Ratsiraka and Albert Zafy, to attend the National Conference. The ousted president, Marc Ravalomanana, is out.

According to Andry Rajoelina’s collaborators, Marc Ravalomanana’s come back on home soil is not propitious. “He only has to join Madagascar to be judged and sent to jail” said one of the transitional leader’s supporters. Marc Ravalomanana’s supporters strongly believe that the crisis will get no long term solution as long as one of its main actors is being excluded from the settlement process.
