France happened to be the single major power supporting the Malagasy imposed authority´s leader´s intention to organize the signing of the SADC´s amended roadmap in an unilateral way. Monja Roindefo, the HAT´s former Prime minister, vehemently challenges and predicts complete failure for such a plan. The Rajoelina sphere which basically jointly accepted the roadmap is now divided in two parts: the majority is supporting closeness with the opposition´s three spheres, the TGV-UDR hard liners are remaining isolated.

Monja Roindefo challenging the unilateral signing thought up by the HAT

Monja Roindefo rejects the signing of the roadmap expected to be completed by Rajoelina on September 16th, 2011 without the SADC. “It is not going to settle the crisis. It would reflect no consensus for the Malagasy people, and it won’t be recognized by the international community ” he declared. Monja Roindefo equally regretted France´s support of the HAT officials´ unilateral intentions.

The former Prime minister outlined that representatives of the international community did come although some groups were still displaying reluctance. “Even the roadmap is being signed, what about its implementation?”, asked Monja Roindefo. He subsequently proposed a new roadmap derivated from the version amended in Gaborone and in Sandton.

Andry Rajoelina wanted another accomplished fact to legitimize his power, namely through elections organized his way without settling the political crisis. The president of the Monima party and declared candidate in the next presidential election is actually keen on claiming the leading role in the movement which lead to the eviction of the previous president with support of a fringe of the armed forces.

“The struggle has not been led by a single only one person “, declared Monja Roindefo. Mahazoarivo´s former master repeatedly claims to be ” the HAT´s single legal Prime minister “, as a response to the difficulties which littered Camille Vital´s appointment, the newly pro-Rajoelina general.

The Rajoelina sphere is torn in pieces, isn´t it?

Eight groups basically signed a recognition of Simao´s basic roadmap as such in March 2011, namely the newly reconstituted Rajoelina sphere, and the opposition´s three spheres, whose leaders are the three former democratically elected presidents Ravalomanana, Ratsiraka and Zafy. At the eve of the signing deemed to empower the amended roadmap, the Rajoelina is on the verge of implosion: the Rajoelina sphere´s hard liners, the UDR-C and the TGV, on one hand, the six other political groups recently gathered by a republican pact, on the other hand.

This moderate pro-HAT chose closeness to the opposition´s three spheres for the sake of the amended roadmap´s signing and implementation. These six groups are bound to accept the amendment which terrifies the ruling power, as the Ravalomanana issue increasingly appears to be the crisis´ settlement´s key. The return to the president on home soil is being considered with serenity in a certain extent by his opponents. “There is will to discuss, to find solutions, and to make deals “, declared Alain Andriamiseza

According to Jules Randriamaholison, from the Ravalomanana sphere, “signing a consensual roadmap deemed to settle the crisis is highly relevant”. He believes the troika´s mission in Madagascar to be based on the SADC´s chiefs of state´s decision. “We expect them to present a roadmap to be signed by the Malagasy counterparts. Signing will however not prove enough, it will have to be implemented “, he added. A signing taking place on September 16th, 2011 is likely. It will be the end of the HAT, at least the end of its face shaped by the year 2009´s putsch
