The search of a villa belonging to the son of the president in exile, Marc Ravalomanana, has shaken the suburbs of Antsirabe city.

Mysterious search at Tojo Ravalomanana’s home

Located about fifteen kilometres away from Antsirabe, Madagascar’s second city, the villa belonging to the Malagasy president’s elder son, Tojo Ravalomanana, has been for some days closely protected by an infuriated crowd as well as by some members of the police forces keen on preventing possible depredations.

As a matter of fact, police forces elements from the mixed National nvestigation Commission (CNME) have searched the place, few days earlier.

The most ticking fact was the phone call made by one of the militaries, from his cell phone, to signal the presence of an armoured vehicle in the villa’s garden. The present civilians easily caught up that the militaries would be taking away the car in question, by force.

The local police forces agreed to be present for the sake of security and in order to prevent lootings.

The search has, anyway, revived the political tension in the area. The” legalistic “, partisans of Marc Ravalomanana, have stood against the CNME’s action. Here is one more confused situation between the High Authority of Transition’s soldiers and the exiled president’s sympathizers.
