The SADC´s presidents are going to join Luanda altogether on August 17th and address some of the organization´s new members´ political problems, including the Malagasy crisis, its roadmap and the legions of its contradicting interpretations

Political crisis: the next step in Luanda, but not the final one

Doctor Leonardo Simao´s presence on Malagasy soil as the SADC´s envoy does not contribute to make things easier. The international mediation´s envoy is back and bound to carry on what he´s always been doing during the latest couple of years, namely assessing the situation, meeting various political forces, and undergoing the Malagasy media groups´ criticisms for a striking lack of progress.

Luanda´s meeting is certainly not likely to rip the various interpretations of the amended roadmap to the bud. The real division bell rings when Andry Rajoelina and the militaries who propelled him on the top vehemently deny Marc Ravalomanana the right to recover home soil from exile. The SADC´s chiefs of state required an unconditional come back for him, the amended roadmap, a come back conditioned by appeasement and security, hence the previously legions of misunderstandings which will not wither in Luanda
