The new coalition’s founding political parties, namely Otrikafo party, the DHD and the Solid parties happened to be more socialist than nationalist. The new coalition is officially called “Firaisankinan’ny Liampivoarana” (Solidarity of Progress Parties). Rajaonah Andrianjaka argued that all of Madagascar’s leaders have been pawns either for France or the United States of America since the country’s independence in 1960. The Solidarity of Progress Parties would like to dare the odds and turn the tide. The founder of the Otrikafo party believes that the Malagasy economy has to be controlled by none but the Malagasy themselves for the sake of a genuine and harmonious development. Rajaonah Andrianjaka argued moreover that 70% to 75% of Madagascar’s economy actually controlled by foreigners of various origins. The new coalition of progress oriented parties pushes for a rise to power, without specifying the way it intends to capitalize its projects
A newly created coalition of progress oriented parties political parties has emerged from the dark. For the time being, the coalition is made of three political parties which do not have any relevant base across the country yet, although their evolution slowly develops.
