France's foregone agreement is a complete mystery for the other political mobilities absolutely unwilling to sign unknown things. For the Ravalomanana, Zafy and Ratsiraka delegations, the four party talks are compulsory.

The joint three mobilities unaware of any alleged head to head talk session, four party talks underway

The three mobilities were represented by strong but unequal contingents at the airport of Ivato, on their way to Pretoria, South Africa. It is former president Zafy’s first travel since Andry Rajoelina has been resuming his unilateral transitional process. The rumours of pending division within the joint opposition front would have apparently not dented his determination. “The ambassador of France didn’t dare to tell me that I was out”, insured the professor.

Albert Zafy confessed to be fully unaware of the so named proposals allegedly accepted by Andry Rajoelina and Marc Ravalomanana. “I have no idea of such an alleged foregone agreement”. So does Marc Ravalomanana, while emphasizing that four party talks will come true. Only the pro-Rajoelina media goups are alleging something else” declared the former president. The Zafy mobility feels as involved as it never did before. “The future is uncertain, but our self commitment is pushing for the recovery of a solution “, emphasized Manoro Régis, the mobility’s spokesman.

The Ratsiraka mobility is just as so sceptical concerning a less and less potential cast aside. “Do you really think that a couple of former presidents are making the move to attend a signature ceremony between a couple of other figures?… As long as former presidents Ratsiraka and Zafy are being called, talks will be on schedule”, analyzed Azaly Ben Marofo. According professor Ange Andrianarisoa, delegation chief, both of the concerned presidents are everything but simple mediators as many other rumours are describing them. “Even if there is any such agreement, it will be jointly addressed”, he said.

The Ravalomanana mobility as so emphatically denied any secret deal to be only signed in South Africa. “Alleging any foregone deal between Andry Rajoelina and Marc Ravalomanana is a matter for the one who does so and no one else”, commented Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro. He obviously targeted a certain HAT leader reluctant to negotiate in Pretoria. According to the former TIM parlamentarian, the convention and the whole roadmap are still to be addressed. He subsequently argued that two or three points of the Maputo agreements as well as the drafted protocole between the Rajoelina and Ravalomanana mobilities are remaining on the menu.

Parts of the HAT and Ravalomanana delegations had an early land on in South Africa in order to prepare common ground for…negotiations(?). The attorney Hanitra Ramanantsoa and Guy Rivo Randrianarisoa on one hand, Zazah Ramandimbiarison, Hyppolite Ramaroson and André Resampa on the other one, have tackled the issue before the starting whistle. Pretoria will be welcoming the three mobilities’ figures which previously attended the Maputo or Addis Ababa stages.

Didier Ratsiraka will be surrounded by his loyal supporters as Mrs. Ramisandrazana, Emilson or Azaly Ben Marofo conducted by Prof. Angel Andrianarisoa. The Zafy mobility is represented by the inescapable Emmanuel Rakotovahinies, as well as Tabera Randriamanantsoa, Manoro Régis, Yves Razanamasy… The Ravalomanana mobility hammered the last nail in the division rumours’ coffin by welcoming all of the TIM leaders Fetison Andrianirina, Mamy Rakotoarivelo and Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro. The “legalistic” party’s Hanta Randriamandranto, the MFM’s Manandafy Rakotonirina and Rapelanoro will be also be in for it.
