During the latest days, the representatives of the three political mobilities looked down by Andry Rajoelina have been making a tour of foreign embassies to expose their stand.

The three mobilities are in for a new diplomatic battle

On the ground, the showdown is definitely engaged between the Transition’s self proclaimed president, Andry Rajoelina, and the other mobilities which all signed up to the Maputo agreements. On the diplomatic front, a new battle has been started as well.

The representatives of the Albert Zafy, Didier Ratsiraka and Marc Ravalomanana mobilities have been running a tour of foreign embassies since the beginning of   September 14th’s week.

This action’s goal is the clarification of the three mobilities’ position. They are currently looking for means to put pressure on a HAT stubbornly reluctant to comply with the agreements signed by the beginning of August. The unilateral erection of the new government by the team of Andry Rajoelina, at the very expenses of the Maputo agreements, had actually caused skyrocketing political tensions again.

The whole international community has rebuked Prime minister Monja Roindefo’s new government. So far however, the Andry Rajoelina mobility hasn’t intended to give in yet.
