Though expected in Antananarivo on Saturday December 12th, the three political mobilities' delegation members recently involved in the latest Maputo meeting are blocked in South Africa.

After an extended stay in Maputo, the three mobilities’ delegation members have been transferred to Johannesburg to fly back to Antananarivo. It is at the airport that they took knowledge of a note stemming from the ministry in charge of Madagascar’s home security, forbidding their entry on the Malagasy territory.

In Madagascar, civilian society’s organisations and political groupings are beginning to resent the move more and more seriously. Therese Zafy, former president Albert Zafy’s lady, affirmed that her man had to be let back home on humanitarian basis due to health issues.

Since not that long, some delegation members have been considering to report this illegal ban to enter their own country to the International Court of The Hague.

Only journalists and bodyguards have been allowed back to Madagascar. As an evidence of solidarity with the other delegation members, however, they turned down the opportunity to embark right away.
