Tourism days in Tanà

Antananarivo, the capital, should no longer be only a transit point to other destinations in the Big Island. It is the ambition of tour operators in the region of Antananarivo.
 
Since Oct. 16, the regional Office of Tourism showed that Antananarivo also has numerous attractions. Especially during the celebration of tourism, it was important for the Antananarivo region to highlight the major attractions to be visited in the capital and its surroundings.
 
 Special mention was made to the palace of the Queen under heavy rehabilitation process, the palace of Ambohimanga, the botanical and zoological park of Tsimbazaza and, a little further, Mantasoa, Ampefy and so on.
 
The Tourism Day was also an opportunity to display the cultural and artistic talents of the region. The event is accompanied by a fashion defilé, with a predominance of products “made in Madagascar”.
