Long before the publication of names of the ministers to be part of the "consensus" government announced by Monja Roindefo, the Ravalomanana, Ratsiraka and Zafy mobilities have condemned the one-sided act. They do not endorse either their former collaborators who decided to respond personally to the HAT's call

Transition government II: the three mobilities are resenting and denouncing the fake consensus

No condemnation and no endorsement either. The outgoing president Marc Ravalomanana is more or less willing to tolerate that of the former high profile figures of the party, Tiako i Madagasikara and former institution heads pick the opposite side. “If they see that such is better for the country, it’s their concern”, he has declared on the waves of a private station. A mild sarcastic attack is being hinted behind such an opened tolerance. : they got what they always wanted, honour and money”,

Marc Ravalomanana reiterated that assuming a power taken by force is absolutely off the point as far as his mobility is concerned. He is extolling the consensus and recalling that he still has his say. “I already accepted to keep out of the transition power that will be to put in place… it doesn’t mean that I am no more mobility leader” he warned.

Fetison Andrianirina, the Ravalomanana mobility’s delegation chief, is supporting his leader’s position. The TIM party’s former members, who accepted to integrate the transitional process driven by the Rajoelina mobility, have done so “freely and on behalf of their own self”. Although, Fetison Andrianirina is finding them rather “pathetic”, and their incentives even more.

According to Didier Ratsiraka, Andry Rajoelina and Monja Roindefo are violating the transition’s constitution, that is to say the charter signed by the four mobilities in Maputo. “It is an unilaterally built government, an accomplished fact, everything but a consensus”, he has declared. He is, thus, displaying his concerns about the country’s face and about the internal order when those who are supposed to lead are failing to respect the very fundamental law.

The admiral doesn’t endorse the appointment of some of his former proxies and collaborators in the Rajoelina mobility patched up government. He recognized Mamy Ratovomalala, as minister during his mandate, as well as Alain Tehindrazanarivelo, as his brother’s doctor. Didier Ratsiraka is, however, turning down any association of these people to his mobility.

The Albert Zafy mobility doesn’t fight for positions; it is bound to accept only those of a genuine national unity government emerging from a consensus. Régis Manoro is pointing at the escape operated by the HAT. “It is a one-sided government made by the Rajoelina mobility… there is no one from the Zafy mobility “, he has specified. Manoro Régis is denouncing the corruption of political figures to pretend to erect a consensus.

The three mobilities are resenting the HAT strategy to lead everyone to believe in a consensus. By recruiting these former collaborators of leaders, Monja Roindefo could lure the opinion with the opening of his government. On the other hand, the battle will be long and tough to convince the international community.
