The FREE FM radio station used to be considered as part of the political opposition to the ruling power. Having been shut down several months ago, the station begins to broadcast again by now. Lalatiana Rakotondrazafy, the radio station's leading decision maker, stated that her station would not divert from its original line. Its program number one "Anao ny fitenenanana" also resumed, though without Fidele Razara Pierre in charge, for he is currently making an electoral bid for a position in the next parliament. On considérait la station Free FM comme étant une radio d’opposition. Depuis quelques jours, la radio émet de nouveau après plusieurs mois de fermeture.
