During June 26th’s National Day, the armed forces were parading inside the stadium of Mahamasina while Remenabila, the leader of the dahalo keeps on mocking them in the south. Since the latest couple of weeks, hundreds of soldiers have been mobilizing in the southern part of Madagascar to track the invisible man down. The safari is everything but over but chances to find Remenabila are not that many. On June 28th, he threatened to raid the state police’s headquarters near the town of Fort Dauphin (southeast) and caused widespread panic by the same way. Lors de la fête nationale du 26 juin, alors que les militaires ont paradé à Mahamasina, le chef de dahalo Remenabila a continué à jouer les trouble-fête. Depuis une quinzaine de jours, des centaines de militaires sont mobilisés dans la partie sud de Madagascar pour traquer l'homme invisible. La traque se poursuit mais les chances de retrouver Remenabila à court terme s'amenuisent. Le 28 juin, la caserne de la gendarmerie de la ville de Fort-Dauphin (sud-est) a reçu une menace d'attaque de la bande de Remenabila, provoquant une panique dans les parages. La grève d'avertissement et le conclave tenus depuis le 27 juin ont permis aux agents de l'Etat au niveau de chaque ministère de se pencher sur la situation générale des fonctionnaires. Ils ont confirmé le début d'une grève générale en vue d'un blocage progressif de la machine administrative à compter du 2 juillet prochain.
