Lalao Ravalomanana, the former first lady has, by the end of the week, tackled her campaign in the North of Madagascar, while, Andry Rajoelina, the self proclaimed transitional leader and her main opponent took the opposite direction, and opened a hospital in Toliara. Let the challenge begin. The SADC has however just been having its meeting in Maputo and emphasized as a consequence that it would pledge no recognition to any election involving any of the three candidates rejected by the international community.
