Etienne Andriamahefarisoa, president of the AV7 (Association of February 7th victims), has been held in custody because of a fantastic break in at a suburban township's mayor.

A zealous partisan of Rajoelina behind bars

The president of the AV7 has been incarcerated following a state police investigation and the public prosecutor’s decision. Etienne Andriamahefarisoa intended to penetrate by force, weapon in hand, in a home belonging to the mayor of the rural township of Sabotsy Namehana, north from the capital city.

The reason for the visit paid by the president of the AV7 and three members of the police forces has remained unclear. The mayor complained thereafter about the disappearance of money and valuable items from his home. Hence an investigation proved necessary.

Eye witnesses of the fantastic stage simply spoke out about power abuse. The raiders had actually blocked the road with a four wheel drive vehicle before penetrating in the mayor’s home.

A fringe of the population was on the brink of confronting the incredible « visitors », believing in a hold up perpetrated by outlaws, especially after Etienne Andriamahefarisoa had shot once in the air, on no obvious account.
