Maritime Transport: the 5 ports of the Indian Ocean will work together

A meeting between the managers of the 5 largest ports in the Indian Ocean is currently being held and which will be closed tomorrow. The Port of Toamasina participates in that annual meeting which is called “The Indian Ocean Port and Logistics”.

Among the main topics discussed during the event include the development of maritime transport in the Indian Ocean and its logistics. The event brings together some 50 companies and nearly 300 decision-makers in the sector of industry. A two-day conference on new technologies and on the latest innovations and advances in the field of maritime transport and port activities are also scheduled.
