The Journalists’ Professional Cards Committee has just been established

The Journalists’ Professional Cards Committee has just been officially established yesterday at the Ministry of Communication. The committee is composed of 6 members who will act as journalists’ representatives. These members include Gerard Rakotonirina, Sylvain Ranjalahy and Flavienne Ramarosaona, while other members including Solomon Ravelontsalama, Nicolas Rabemananjara and William Ratrema will perform the task of press managers.

The representative of the Ministry of Communication inside the committee is Taitsy Gilbert, who is the current Director of Information and Communication of that Ministry. The Committee will hold its first meeting on April 27 and 28, 2011, during which it will elect its chairman and will establish the list of journalists that are eligible to have professional cards.
