Drug trafficking: 700grs of cocaine discovered within the stomach of a Malagasy drug dealer

A hard drug trafficking network has been exposed. On July 9, 64 pellets containing cocaine were discovered in the stomach of a Malagasy smuggler, aged 35. While being questioned by the police, he confessed that he works for a foreigner. In the process, he explained that the foreigner, who is the head of a well-established drug trafficking network, pays him 24 million Ariary to get the drugs from Mauritius to Madagascar.  

The Cocaine found in the stomach of the alleged drug dealer weighs around 700 grams. Each pellet weighs about 11 grams. The drug trafficking operation was discovered after the pellets containing the cocaine exploded within the stomach of the dealer. Victim of an overdose, he was evacuated in an emergency room right after landing in Antananarivo. The pellets of cocaine were found when the dealer underwent surgery. The managers of the hospital where he was admitted alerted immediately the police when the drugs were being discovered. Without delay, an investigation was initiated and the suspect was placed under surveillance.
