The year 2012 promises to be explosive! In fact, only in its first week, the population of the capital receives a bomb as the New Year’s gift.
Yesterday afternoon, the cashier of the branch of BFV-SG received a strange New Year’s gift. The gift was handed to the cashier by a security agent who he himself received it from an unknown individual. The package was wrapped in a nice wrapping paper with a cellphone on which a stranger asked one hundred million MGF.
Stricken by panic, all the bank staff left their offices while the security agent threw the package in the hands of another agent who, in turn, threw it until the package landed on the road without having exploded. Informed of the strange event, the police arrived in numbers to establish a small security zone without interrupting the traffic, until the arrival of the Malagasy Army’s bomb disposal experts who arrived only two hours after the discovery of the bomb.
After opening and examining the package, the bomb disposal experts discovered two bottles (similar to that of a spray deodorant) which are attached to a small electronic board with flashing red and blue light. They immediately carried out the neutralization of the explosive. The Army’s bomb disposal experts said the bomb was similar to those discovered in 2009 and 2010. Luckily, the bomb did not explode.
Following this bomb’s discovery, one question arises in the minds of the many. Is it a hoax or a real desire to cause trouble? In any case, the answers lay in the hands of the Research Section of the National Gendarmerie who is currently undertaking investigations on the bomb attack.
