King Solomon's temple was wrought of gold. Did Hebrews really make their way as far up as to this Great Isle to collect it? The mystery of Alakamisy Ambohimaha has not yet revealed all its secrets.

The mystery of Alakamisy Ambohimaha

On a mountain located near the area called Alakamisy Ambohimaha, some 260 miles away along the National Road 7 to the South of the capital city Antananarivo, lay chiseled in the rock some seemingly Hebrew inscriptions happened to be shrouded with the stuff of mystery. Entrenched inside the typical Betsileo region’s landscape, the area raises many more historical questions than expected from such a derelict place. Many searchers who went about deciphering these strange signs concurred with each other in the fact that they would appear to be an evidence of Hebrew presence on Malagasy soil, albeit a short term presence for the sake of collecting at least one share of gold to be used to erect their King Solomon’s Temple described by the Ancient Testament. The debate raised about the mysterious inscriptions of Alakamisy Ambohimaha is everything but drawing to an end. Still, the time enjoying the site’s natural beauty will prove delightful enough until scientists ever agree on this inscription’s meaning.
