Artists in Toamasina : no pay check yet for June 26th’s performance

Artists who performed during the national 50th independence anniversary are grumbling. The organization committee has failed to repay the money basically promised to them although their performance served as this day’s party heart.

These artists are definitely feeling cast aside since a certain number of other artists from outside Toamasina performed like Lego and the Lien Bouessa band, though not being scheduled from scratch, and were correctly paid. The city’s officials’ call for calm failed to moderate the growing anger

Many more people apart from artists are still expecting their wage, part of them are many commission members who actively contributed to the national day’s party
