Hyppolite Raharison: « General Noel Rakotonandrasana is entitled to be listened »

Vice admiral Hyppolite Raharison is part of those straining to find a peacefull solution to the conflict ignited by minister Noel Rakotonandrasana’s dismissal, and which has been undermining the armed forces ever since. Hyppolite Raharison is currently the armed forces’ highest ranked officer as well as the HAT vice Prime minister in charge of the foreign affairs. He stated that « general Rakotondrasana is entitled to be listened ». His intervention is sounding like a call to peacefull talks between protagonists. 

The armed forces’ highest officers are straining to reconcile both generals in expectation of further reactions: Camille Vital, Prime minister vs Noel Rakotonandrasana, deposed HAT defense minister. The match is actually very much destabilizing for the regime. 

Everybody remembers Colonel Rakotonandrasana’s role in March 2009, as spokesman of the mutiny which led to the putsch and paved Marc Ravalomanana’s way to exile. The recent TV images casting the disowned minister are a painful reminder of last year’s events
