National road n°5 : two trucks filled up with Rhodes oil plants seized

The illegal traffic of Rhodes oil plant is still happening. Early on Tuesday morning, Tanambao Nosibe’s state policemen seized two trucks, and their cargo of 118 Rhodes oil plants trunks on the national road n°5. The cargo’s owner was equally captured as he was following the truck from behind. He and a couple of drivers are being currently investigated. According to the owner, the cargo sailed from North Mananara to Soanierana Ivongo prior to being loaded on this couple of trucks. Police forces apparently failed from spotting anything until Tanambao Nosibe. According to the state police, a tip had led to this seizure.

The incriminated trucks’ number plates were actually not quite clear. But still, it did not cause any problem to police forces at all. Another investigation concerning these trucks has been started, according to the sate police. Case to be continued
