Official exam: A politicized BEPC

One of the topics of the Malagasy BEPC exam subject has been centered on « the Transition’s development efforts » in Madagascar. The candidates are invited to enumerate these « efforts », to give their point and arguments. 

Quite an amazing exam subject since politics doesn’t really appear in the third grade’s official program in Madagascar. 

In reaction to this « pavement in the pool « , the legalistic called to the resignation of the High Authority of Transition’s minister of education, Julian Razafimanazato. The latter has been besmirched on the top scene during the gathering of Marc Ravalomanana’s supporters. He is being accused of « propaganda » and « brain washing « .  

As far as it is concerned, the HAT doesn’t feel any remorse at all. A ministry official affirmed that the Ravalomanana regime also spoke of the five-year long program Madagascar Action Plan in the schools.  

This year, in the capital city, the BEPC exams took place under very high surveillance. Policemen and soldiers have been stationed at exam center’s gates. Political crisis related matter.
