One night of the poorest people downtown

These people are finding shelter where they can for the night (more especially to sleep). Their number is growing more and more in the capital city. From19 hours, one can notice some aged men sleeping on the bare ground without mattress nor drawers. If you are still outdoors by that time, you are shivering. And while passing by those people, either you are thanking the Lord for how lucky you are, or you are wondering how these people can manage to support the cold weather. Others, still at the food chain’s wrong end, managed to get the plastic layers, bags or cardboards from the nearest rubbish dump or from somewhere near department stores. Cellophanes, bags and cardboards are used as bed, house and drawers according to people’s liking. They especially use cellophane layers during rain period: they are sleeping on the ground floor wrapped up in plastic layers. Bags are especially for periods of cold weather, and cardboards are used to protect against the wind. In the evenings, those who sleep close to the dumps are waiting for the daily dumping to search for their dinner.
