The Malagasy Catholic bishops read out the Riot Act to the current leaders: dark business, smuggle, corruption, the outbreak of Dahalo related violence, slaughter of civilians in the southern regions, embezzlement cases and so on. The Episcopal Conference even questioned the nation’s so named independence, considering that scores of foreigners now have their grip on most of the national wealth, as well as on political decisions.
