The Malagasy president has presented his famous 5 year action plan for the country to coincide with the beginning of his second term as president.

Ravalomanana ready to run for a second term.

Marc Ravalomanana chose the commemoration of the popular independence movement of 29 March 1947 at Moramanga to kick off his preliminary action plan for Madagascar. (MAP) The Express writes, ?An insidious declaration, Marc Ravalomanana gives himself 5 years to realize his plan for Madagascar. In other words, the plan can only happen if he is elected for a second term. His rivals have got the message, the presidential race is on.? The writer specifies,? President Ravalomanana hands it out in double doses to awaken public opinion, the voters, that they need to re-elect him to have the benefits of his new governmental plan. It may come out like propaganda but that?s politics. The chief of state uses the 59th anniversary of the independence uprising of 29th March 1947 to underline his intentions and to sell his 5 year plan for the country. Of course it goes without saying, those same 5 years need to be his second presidential term.?
