South Korean investors in the Prime Minister’s Office

On Monday, August 1, a delegation of South Korean investors performed an official visit to the High Authority of Transition’s Prime Minister, Albert Camille Vital. The South Korean delegation includes members of the company called H+C HAMCHANG led by its CEO, J.H. Lee and his associate Juang Dae Hahm.

H+C HAMCHANG is a very important company whose main activity consists of producing energy. Exerting its influence outside of South Korea, the company is already present in different countries including Saudi Arabia, the Maghreb and Africa. This time, H+C HAMCHANG intends to invest in the Great Island, namely in the construction of large infrastructures destined for the exploitation of energy in Madagascar.

However, according to Mr. J.H. Lee, the realization of such an important project requires the contribution of the local population, especially in terms of technical assistance and workforce. Thus, before the establishment of their infrastructures in the Great Island, H+C HAMCHANG will provide the local technicians with specific trainings about the different techniques and processes of energy exploitation and production, so that the latter could get familiarized with the company’s infrastructures.

Congratulating the initiative of the South Korean investors for their investment projects,   the Malagasy Prime Minister stated that now is the high time for Madagascar to welcome investors from anywhere in the globe. Besides, he said that his government supports any kind of investment projects tending to contribute to the development of the country.
