The “legality” square for lack of the “democracy” square

There have been no more non authorized political gatherings on the Place of Democracy for months. On this account, it doesn’t mean to be any more. For Marc Ravalomanana’s supporters, the place of democracy was the best pretext for Andry Rajoelina to conduct the Putsch which drove the elected president into exile. 

Today, the pro-Ravalomanana demonstrators don’t want to hear any more of this place of democracy whose access has been denied to them since three months. They named the Magro private square “Place of legality”, on which their daily gatherings take place. 

Marc Ravalomanana intervened on the phone line, at the time of the rally that followed “the inauguration” of the legality place. Once again then, he promised to return to the country.  

The place of democracy has anyhow allowed Andry Rajoelina to ignite a process which finally ousted Marc Ravalomanana. For four months, the current occupiers of the legality square have been denouncing the putsch on end.
