Work is now in progress to bring to the Pangalanes channel, on the East coast, the beauty of its origins.

The Pangalanes channel to regain its original beauty

For a few years, circulation on the Pangalanes channel has been somewhat obstructed by the many plants covering part of the water surface of the channel.  The Pangalanes stretch on more than 600 km on the East coast of Madagascar between the town of Toamasina and that of Farafangàna.  Started work will contribute to reinforce the river transport on the axis and, in same time, to encourage travelers. The channel of the pangalanes is also rich in discovery.  A trip along the channle, if you are looking for pleasure, is often done in 10 days.  The circuit makes it possible to visit the most hidden villages of the East coast.  The channel was set up by the Colombs, in particular for the exploitation of the richnesses of the East and remained, for a long time, appropriate for holidays and adventure.
