The Queen’s Palace is being rebuilt.

One often spoke about the “crane of the hope”.  A crane is indeed visible by far in the court of the palace located on top of the highest hill of the Malagasy capital, Antananarivo.  Work of rehabilitation has started on this main remaining of the history of the country and splendid place for a walk with a panoramic sight on the city.  It is not the first time that the Malagasy leaders envisage to rehabilitate the palace.  The initiative of president Ravalomanana seems however to raise a hope of a real achievement before the end of the year.  He indeed promised to take the things in hand.  The “Rova” was set on fire ten years ago.
