Tourism: a new ultra-modern hotel in Antsirabe

Thanks to the excellent initiative of a young Ethiopian Lady named, Genet Weldeselassié, who is married to a French man, the city of Antsirabe has now a brand new 3 star hotel. Indeed, as part of the revitalization of tourism in the Vakinankaratra region, in general, and in the city of waters, in particular, Genet Weldeselassié officially opened last Friday their « Flower Palace Hotel » which is located right in the heart of the city, near of the train station.

The Tourism Minister, Jean Max Rakotomamonjy, was present during the inaugural ceremony to honor the event. In his address, the Minister mentioned the potential of Antsirabe in this important sector as the second provider of foreign currency to the country. For his part, the first deputy mayor of the city of Antsirabe, Harrys Andrianarison, noted that the « Flower Palace Hotel » gives a new more attractive and modern look to the city of the « Ranovisy » and the thermal station. He subsequently wishes that the number of tourists visiting the city will increase in the near future.

As for the managers of the « Flower Palace Hotel », they gave the reasons inducing them to invest in Antsirabe, namely the establishment of a 3 star hotel. First, this category of luxury hotel does not exist yet in the Vakinankaratra region which possesses a huge potential in tourism development. So, they wanted to make their due contribution because, first of all, Mrs Genet Weldeselassié is a specialist professional in the field of tourism and is ready to comply with the local laws and regulations. The « Flower Palace Hotel » has at its disposal, in addition to the restaurant, snack, bar and tea room, 20 rooms including 6 suites and 14 rooms with full comfort.
