After being subjected to an enduring strike for almost half a year, students at the Faculty of Science and Polytechnic School of Antananarivo will now be able to join classrooms. Actually, classes in those two schools started yesterday and freshman students will be able to study peacefully. As for the students of higher levels, including second, third and fourth year, they have already started their catching up and remedial courses for some time now.
Consequently, as indicated by the Vice President of the University, Jean Eric Rakotoarisoa, with the late start of the class, students will not be able to benefit from a holiday from now on. At the same time, he said students will have 25 weeks to finish all courses and to earn their credits, which thus means that schedules will be rather tight.
