In the run of the quest of a C plan, the authoritarian regime's leader invited the country's more or less influential political parties. For lack of convincing the opposition's mobilities, Andry Rajoelina is trying to build up a widened consensus. But consultations finally failed to gather the expected legion of proposals around the new roadmap.

Widened party consultations in Iavoloha: propositions before the C plan

After the failure of Teny ifampierana and before of the regional conferences, Andry Rajoelina is still patching up his consensus with inclusiveness make up. Thursday 06th’s politicians’ parade in the palace of Iavoloha reflected the still not capitalized so named widened consensus.

Against all odds, many politicians, basically invited by the HAT in order to address the B plan after the french roadmap’s failure to push through in Pretoria, failed to do so. On the contrary, they put new ideas forth. In the end, the B plan made of the french proposal and the Teny ifampierana, is a thing of the past. The contribution to the C plan is turned into a public blog.

The HAT open doors skull session is definitely a pull back, but it also skirts around the three mobilities. The Rajoelina mobility is keen on presenting the best possible roadmap accepted by the political class’ major part, for lack of support from the armed forces.

« our presence here means that we’re prepared to collaborate with the HAT president in order to find a solution « , revealed Vaovao Benjamin. This Arema party member long ago thrown up by the Ratsiraka mobility believes a hybrid military and civilian government to be a source of problems, and preaches the erection of a national unity government.

The Arema party’s former national secretary, Pierrot Rajaonarivelo, is longing for the organization of a national conference prior to referendum and elections. The MDM party leader is calling upon genuine dialog, and believes the position casting related disputes to be dimmed to be secondary.

The UDR, a patchwork of parties stemming from the Rajoelina mobility has not any new proposal. Lahiniriko Jean only emphasized the schedule drafted by the HAT leader, namely a constitutional referendum followed by legislative and presidential elections. The HAT vice president’s top priority is to maintain Andry Rajoelina on top of his transition, as a matter of respect for the popular movement’s aspirations.

Rajemison Rakotomaharo’s party, represented by the former Analamanga region’s chief, Manganirina Randrianarisoa, has accepted the HAT electoral calendar and emphasized the national conference’s necessity. So did the MAMAN party or Madagasikara Mandroso lead by Yvette Sylla, provided that fair bases for incoming democratic elections are settled

Roland Ratsiraka is so impatient to settle the crisis that he believes a single wave of massive solidarity to be able to do so within 24 hours. The MTS has always been standing against a constituent assembly and insisting on the constitutional referendum. The other red party is requiring the setting up of a national unity government with 25 to 50% of military members. Roland Ratsiraka finally pushed Andry Rajoelina to seduce politicians increasingly breaking ranks.

Vy Vato Rakotovao, the TIM Youth’s former president, is emulating the others. « We are making proposals to Andry Rajoelina for the sake of a solution suited to the crisis « , he reported without further details. Equally thrown up by his party as well as by the Ravalomanana mobility, he specified that the erection of the national unity government has not been addressed during his talks with the authoritarian regime’s leader.

In face of the repeated political corruption attempts, Fetison Andrianirina sent a clear message to Andry Rajoelina: « Quit dividing the Malagasy people, quit dividing the army, quit dividing the political parties!  »
