From May 13th to May 20th, the decisive week,

The Emmo Reg´s deterrents didn’t impact as basically expected on the opposition. Defying the arrest threats against whoever daring to join or lead any politically motivated demonstration, the opposition´s three spheres and their supporters successfully reached the United States´ embassy located in Andranoro. On the political terrain, the opposition´s joint three spheres pleaded before the American representation for the resumption of Malagasy led negotiations before the SADC´s deemed to start on May 20th, 2011. « Reconciliation between the Malagasy is paramount and should come true before this deadline » declared Mananandafy Rakotonirina from the Ravalomanana sphere.

The mass demonstrations led by students in 1972 to reverse the French supported first republic, is still reminding vivid memories. In 2011, the imposed ruling power´s fears capitalized in security forces hindering students from demonstrating and publicly claiming the academic return.

The HAT´s polices interrogated an animator of demonstrations held in the Magro square , the man being accused of having pushed people to attack the city hall. « It is a public property, we have to preserve it and not to destroy it again « , reacted the general Richard Ravalomanana, waving as per usual a attempt threat.   
Each and every suspect will be searched because a couple of wanted individuals are said to be likely to open fire on demonstrators. According to the ruling authorities, these outlaws would have been intended to make use of fire arms  against innocents in Ivato in February 2011.
