The Electoral Commission now leaves the floor to a Special Electoral Court already sifting through the piles of requests related to both rounds of elections held together on December 20th, its attention more particularly focused on official complains. The Opposition represented by presidential candidate Jean Louis Robinson has been stressing the point that scores of electoral frauds must have affected the electoral process throughout the island. Candidates running for parliamentarian seats even mounted street demonstrations in Morondava city in reaction to results manipulations schemed in favor of candidates supported by the transitional ruling power.
The National Electoral Commission intends to release the presidential election's temporary results of the presidential elections' round two on January 3rd. Since such a step was basically expected to be reached but on January 7th, the Electoral Commission must have stepped up the pace and completed the muster of results faster than it was deemed to, namely for the sake of drawing this presidential election's round two as early as possible to an end. The pending challenge of the released results is very much likely to be the next showdown on schedule.
