The transition´s parliament has to organize a special session from February 14th on, in order to address an amnesty bill draft, for the SADC renewed its emphatic requirement of an amnesty bill to be passed before February 29th , as the outcome of its meeting held during the latest week end in Cape Town, South Africa. Tojo Ravalomanana denounces the HAT´s « terrorism » but exile is this time around off the point
The son of the exiled president, Marc Ravalomanana, made it clear that deterrents would not have him leave the country. Tojo Ravalomanana and his wife returned from exile by the end of 2011. The High Authority of Transition recently ordered a violent search of their home in Andranomanelatra, 140 kilometers away in the south of the capital city. It would not prove enough to have them recover South Africa. "We won´t be the ones returning to Daddy, he is the one who will soon join us," he bravely declared. Malagasy crisis: the French army openly pokes its nose in it
French uniforms, officially playing the role of instructors, are on the Malagasy soil as a matter of fact. In the midst of a political crisis, they are intending to train the armed forces as explained by the Malagasy Ministry of Defence. Considering that the transitional regime, already rejected by the population´s majority, no longer owes its rule but to a fringe of the army, those news are not contributing to lower tensions. The Rajoelina supportived armed forces raided Tojo Ravalomanana´s home
Homeland Security department soldiers, search warrant and machine guns in the hands, surprised former president Marc Ravalomanana´s son by night on February 6th. They were armed men instructed to search his home by the transitional Presidency. The purpose of the search has not been revealed. The Ravalomanana sphere leaders did not hesitate to call it "persecution" against Marc Ravalomanana´s relatives. The Ravalomanana sphere´s reactions are far from matching the extent of former president´ supporters´ wrath. Sphere leaders seemingly find it hard to keep in control. Scores of opponents to the ruling regime are now calling upon a withdrawal from the government. The High Authority of Transition unmistakably proved its will to thwart the implementation of the roadmap.
