Who is the new Prime minister: the other unsolved equation
The document signed in Ivato is a roadmap actually far from leading to any settlement of the crisis. These rules of engagement in the transition are no match for the heap of contradicting interpretations. There is in the end still a very long way to go prior to reaching any shadow of common ground, namely on the highly sensitive power sharing issue. Lire la suite »
the after-roadmap: the crisis gets a new shape
After the signing of the roadmap on September 17h, 2011 in Antanetibe-Ivato, the political crisis has come up to the HAT´s efforts to keep ruling the ousted president Marc Ravalomanana out and to keep in control. The TGV´s low punch in order to recover six black ships of the family at a time
The UDR-TGV hard liners gave a piece of their mind to their allies which accepted the Simao roadmap in March 2011. The imposed authority claimed its allied back by force and silenced their separatist views pushing for closeness to the opposition´s three spheres. Lire la suite »
Monja Roindefo challenging the unilateral signing thought up by the HAT
France happened to be the single major power supporting the Malagasy imposed authority´s leader´s intention to organize the signing of the SADC´s amended roadmap in an unilateral way. Monja Roindefo, the HAT´s former Prime minister, vehemently challenges and predicts complete failure for such a plan. The Rajoelina sphere which basically jointly accepted the roadmap is now divided in two parts: the majority is supporting closeness with the opposition´s three spheres, the TGV-UDR hard liners are remaining isolated.
