Dr. Raoul, from the Mahaleo artistic group, crucifies the France-Africa policy

Madonline(M): How are you rating the on-going events?

Dr. Raoul (DR): The current leaders have completely missed out on the Malagasy mentality. Madagascar is currently ruled by leaders unwilling to listen to the people. We are able to settle this crisis, provided that everyone is bound to concede to the Fihavanana( brotherhood ) in order to recover the lost international recognition. No country on earth is able to live in isolation. The HAT inability to get international recognition from the European Union is one the main sources of the people’s distress.

Could France keep on going with its corrupted policy in Madagascar, civil war is the worst to be feared in Madagascar. Precisely this Franc-Africa policy is the origin of the crisis presently engulfing Madagascar, this France-Africa policy is definitely manipulating the HAT leaders

M: what’s the solution according to you?

DR: We have to engage talks referreed by international mediators. Freedom of speech must be total on each and every press wave, be it state owned or private. Common ground can only be found through dialog and debate

M: A message for artists?

DR: Aritsts are part of the people’s voice, and consequently have to get closer from their audience. Their role must not be neglected since, Nelson Mandela was set free from detention largely thanks to artists led pressure. The artists do have the power to restore order in a country
