« Global Volunteer Day »: DHL taking care of the Primary Public School of Isahafa

Like every year during the « Global Volunteer Day », the big family of DHL did not forget to dedicate the celebration of that special day to perform social works and community services. For Madagascar’s team, it chose to distribute school stationery, clothes, shoes and toys for the children of the Primary Public School of Isahafa last Saturday. Such initiative is very laudable in that it happens exactly at the moment when parents are faced with financial difficulties preparing the start of the school year.

In addition to the donation, DHL Madagascar also repainted the whole school building and brsome changes to its garden to become more attractive. Among the social works undertaken by DHL Madagascar include, among others, the assistance and backing of the children from the « SOS Children Village » for a couple of years now. In fact, each employee has to support personally one child of that association through his or her education. Such value is respected by each employee of DHL Madagascar, contributing to the good reputation of this company in the country.
