How can one deal with a dictating leader stubbornly attached to a poor decision meant to piss the international community and the Malagasy citizens off? The members of the transitional government are flying to the rescue to moderate the message. From now on, holding legislative elections in May 2010 even if it kills is no more the main point. On the other hand, the thing would now be impossible since it would legally be too late to call voters to polls. The current focal point is now the making up of a less dictating mask for the TGV, a disguise of a Great Democracy.
« Andry Rajoelina is launching a public debate concerning his decision during this meeting; it is in no way dictatorship », argue the HAT minister Jean of God Maharante. According to this Ratsiraka regime’s former dignitary, the HAT leader did well when turning to toward a home grown solution. « The agreements signed in Maputo are certainly still in, but when everyone has noticed the impossibility to implement them, the so named agreements are fading away by themselves « , argued the HAT disciple. As a matter fact, the HAT led meeting is certainly not going to address any way to implement the Maputo agreements at all.
For the political allies of the HAT, the Rajoelina roadmap is being reset. « We are going to determine the vote’s very identity, we are not going to impose the constituent assembly « , promised the TGV’s best friend, the HAT minister of Youth Serge Ranaivo. The other former DJ knows the music: « the HAT is neutral, the draft attached to the invitations is nothing but a draft, but not yet the final text ». The transitional government is putting its money on a facebook like interaction to make consensus appearances up. The former TGV municipal adviser announced that the things are going to go very quickly. « Could the text be voted, we are going to hold the elections by the end of May « . To this end though, a legal three months long period prior to the elections is required.
The HAT Decentralization minister is anxious to resetting the national political sway since « only the elections », namely the HAT elections, are meant to lead to the « New Order ». The Rajoelina mobility is actually being undermined by a certain complex, since its leader has merely been elected mayor of Antananarivo, whereas the opposition’s three other leaders have all been elected President of Republic. « The others’ absence does not mean that the outcome will be pointless », protested Hajo Andrianainarivelo. « We are inviting political parties and not mobilities, since political parties are the ones to be involved in elections ».
The best speech award is entitled to the HAT water management minister. Nirhy Lanto Andrimahazo is playing Herodotus’ role by referring to the past ages. A long time ago, disputes in the family or in a village used to be settled by talks. « The raiamandreny or the chief calls upon everybody to meet, and the outcome of the talks is being implemented », he said. He was also in the one way TGV express line from the Town Hall to the government. « The executive will only be able to capitalize whatever would have been decided, the people is compelled to accept whatever would have been jointly decided and voted », explained Nirhy Lanto Andriamahazo. The HAT and its government is forced to run campaign against the non involvement in its consultation, as shown by the HAT water management minister’s last stroke: « whoever steps away from this consultation is stepping away from the society itself ». The manoeuvre’s success is undeniably connected to the three other mobilities’ disqualification, for lack of Maputo Charter in the Rajoelina roadmap’s way.
