As the Transition goes on, the two main knockers of Marc Ravalomanana have to make more efforts to publicly demonstrate the solidity of their unity.

Monja Roindefo and Andry Rajoelina: a fake solidarity

Restoring the truth. Prime minister Monja Roindefo had to act, against many declarations on the misunderstanding between himself and the president of the High Authority of Transition Andry Rajoelina.

The government’s chief had to finally publicly declare, during a brief interview granted to the press, that there’s always been a good relation with the president of the HAT. “I get along very well with Andry Rajoelina” he claimed.

It was necessary to announce it solemnly. The inner struggle within the Transition’s team has become an open secret. The situation is even more complicated as Monja Roindefo seems to struggle with hiding his presidential ambitions, in case of elections.

Incitements to candidacy didn’t miss along his repeated tours throughout the Great Isle’s different regions. Thus they have curiously been spread by the press and announced publicly.

Nobody ignores that Roindefo already tried to contest, without success for sure, but nothing tells that some months in the palace of Mahazoarivo as Prime minister of a Transition government didn’t sharpen its taste for power.

Besides, some reliable sources affirm the desires, in the setting of Rajoelina, to get rid  of this sometimes burdening Prime minister. Candidates to the position would actually not be scarce.

Monja Roindefo therefore hurried in to “restore the truth” in order not to display a jungle like picture of the Transition. That will be seen in the near future.
