Toamasina’s branch of the MPFM, the Movement for the Federal Regime in Madagascar, is back to life again, following a relatively long stand by estate. Its members held it as an assessment period meant to draw the clearest possible pattern. They reported that they have been carefully observing the nation’s political life, and consequently drafted the suited propositions and solutions to the current confusion expected to end with the fourth Republic’s advent. They argued that: “ only the federal regime is suited to the Malagasy people’s fourth Republic”. They emphasized that: “ only this regime is to remain in touch with the people on a daily basis”
The MPFM is independent, in no way attached to any of the famous political mobilities
It has been emphatically repeated that: “ the MPFM is in no way supportive of any of the contesting political mobilities, for being fully independent, and fully opened to anyone in the country. The Unistate regime consequently has to be drawn to an end, for the sake of the federal one in order to face up to the next five years.
