Navy officer Ramaroson guiding the HAT into the international waters

Fifteen days after Ny Hasina Andriamanjato’s resignation, his successor at the Foreign Office, Hyppolite Ramaroson has officially tackled his duty in Anosy. The Vice-admiral has, as a matter of fact, been turned into a genuine politician in a matter of a single year; speaking very much, quite at the supposedly silent green machine’s opposite side. « When the ship is in danger, you have got the right and the duty to wake the commandant up « , said the man whose single pride seems to be his navy officer’s uniform. This warning massage was dedicated to Andry Rajoelina, leader of the dictating authorities. The Vice-admiral hinted what happened to the latest genuine commander-in-chief who failed to listen to him. « I spoke during president Ravalomanana’s time, + it is going too far+ », he told. « …and generals are coming up to appear at the district attorney’s (himself dixit) « . 

Hyppolite Ramaroson is not economic with phrases. « No one can hinder me from speaking, I must speak when I have to ». On his first day in office, he produced the speech expected from somebody straining to erase the undermining memory of Andry Rajoelina’s led putsch. There was not putsch in Madagascar on March 17th, 2009, I can witness of it », reiterated the member of a single day’s long military board of directors. « What happened was actually a self led putsch, Ravalomanana did the job himself ». Did Hyppolite Ramaroson influence his couple of counterparts, and compute the « self led putsch » for Andry Rajoelina, his new guru?  

« How can Andry Rajoelina be punished? I cannot accept it, power was ours, and we freely and duely transferred it », argued minister Ramaroson. « You are going to have to punish all of us three too then ( the generals), you are going to have to punish Marc Ravalomanana for transferring fake power, and block his assets abroad ». The navy officer is displaying a stand completely opposed to his predecessor’s wish for the resumption of the Maputo agreements based inclusive and consensual Transition. Hyppolite Ramaroson is totally opposed to it, despite his allegations of openness. Impunity has been being exclusively entitled to the Rajoelina mobility during a year. Sharing it with the other mobilities, as pledged by a political agreement signed by the HAT leader himself, is off the point. The fisherman has spoken.  

According to the resigning minister, the HAT new diplomacy boss’s mission is the enforcement of the international community’s recognition of the election’s results. Ny Hasina Andriamanjato denied that his departure had been motivated by a diplomatic crash. The postponement of international sanctions basically dimmed to have come into force in September 2009 was presented by him as his Foreign Office’s success. In case of failure, Andriamanjato junior is, on this account, free from charges, isn’t he?. The politician is hinting to Andry Rajoelina’s circle of extremists that his departure is, allegedly, going to ease the best decision taking for the country. « I took the decision to resign from the government in order to contribute to Andry Rajoelina’s efforts to set up a national unity government « . And there we are all losing our way too: was he or was he not replaced by another political front’s figure?.
