The Movement of Clerical leaders (HMF) warned about their oppostion to any attempt to manipulate results in the run of the presidential election's last knock out round. To the press they publicly made their readiness to brave whatever dangers again if need be

“Some high ranking civil servants are on the verge of influencing voters and manipulating results” declared parson Roger Randriamisata to the press, before warning: “We will gladly name them loud if we have to”. The Movement of Clerical Leaders emphasized its support to candidate Jean Louis Robinson again and invited the population to do their share and complete their duty in spite of the rainy weather, and to see to it that the voting process remains genuinely true and reliable
