The CSR AN is virtually dead but keeps on living. The HAT has erased the national conferences’ follow up committee. But it keeps on surviving under another name and becomes the preservation committe for national authentic reformation. Its mission is from now on the organization of the national conference no more, but the defense of the previous consultations’ gains. « The national dialogue must be the continuation of the regional conferences « , protested Blanche Nirina Richard. She claims the organization of this meeting, but does not question the involvement of the Raiamandreny mijoro movement’s elders.
« For the sake of preserving the Malagasy regions’ expectation, we are calling upon a real national conference « , insisted the new CSR AN. According to Blanche Nirina Richard, all of the political mobilities must be present in order to gather all ideas: « there will be the resolutions from regional conferences, propositions from the HAT, as well as from the three other mobilities « . According to the CSR AN’s coordinator, the three mobilities must commit to get involved in the organization as observers.
Blanche Nirina Richard is keen on displaying her capacity to adjoin neutrality in the organization of the national conferences for having been dismissed by the HAT. However, the national and regional conferences organized in an unilateral way by the dictating authority are no more recognized today. Mid June’s national dialog is a new process meant to be led by mediators and no more by simple facilitators. The national conference served the legitimation of the HAT leader. The regional conferences had to wash minds up to the acceptation of Andry Rajoelina as President.
The young authoritarian leader’s announcement of his own pull out from the next presidential elections is making the resolutions from the national and regional conference as well as the Rajoelina mobility’s » Teny ifampierana » widened consensus debate simply useless. The HAT is however not making a clean sweep over everything. With or without national dialog, Andry Rajoelina imposes his elections, namely a constitutional referendum, on August 12th, 2010.
So what is the need for a national dialog? According to the chairwoman of the empowered party which has won one single election ever, Antananarivo city’s municipal elections, the main stake is the Constitutional debate. The drafted text will have to be agreed by all of the drafting staff prior to its presentation to voters, suggested Lanto Rakotomavo. The TGV is, therefore, still implementing Andry Rajoelina’s roadmap The national dialog is on its way to be turned into an attempt to legitimate a unilateral decision.
The stages of the consensus and the national reconciliation are being skipped. President Zafy already declared that his mobility will refrain from joining this umpteenth masquerade. He expressed his doubts over the » Raiamandreny mijoro »‘s alleged neutrality since many of its members are stemming from the Rajoelina mobility.
